Interac Corp. operates Canada's Interac Debit and Interac e-Transfer payment services and an identity-verification business. It traces its origins to 1984, when Canada's major financial institutions came together to provide shared cash dispensing, and it was reunited as Interac Corp. in 2018 after more than 20 years as two organisations. Its products include Interac Debit with contactless and mobile-wallet payments, Interac e-Transfer and e-Transfer for Business, and Interac Direct for online payments. Following its acquisition of 2Keys in 2019 and of exclusive Canadian rights to SecureKey Technologies' digital ID services in 2021, it introduced Interac Verified in 2023 as the name for its verification business, covering verification, document verification and sign-in services. The company states that more than 300 financial institutions are connected to its network, and its President and CEO is Jeremy Wilmot.
