About
Fishburners is a Sydney-based tech startup community that connects founders with mentors, investors, partners and other founders, supporting companies from first idea through to Series A. It was established in 2011 by tech entrepreneurs Mike Casey and Pete Davison as a not-for-profit coworking space, following the Project Hollywood coworking space opened in Sydney by startup Gradconnection in 2010. Its Founders Passport membership gives access to in-person events and workshops, mentors, partner perks and founder programmes, with an optional Passport Hub desk in Fishburners' section of WeWork at 64 York Street in Sydney's CBD. The Residency Program is an equity-free, application-based programme offering year-round, stage-specific support and founder-led accountability. Alumni featured on its site include founders of Koala, v2food and HyperAnna, and the organisation is led by CEO Majella Campbell.
