Flat6Labs is an entrepreneurship platform that runs startup acceleration programmes, ecosystem development and advisory services in emerging markets across the Middle East and Africa. Sawari Ventures launched it in Cairo in 2011, it expanded to Saudi Arabia in 2013 and Bahrain in 2018, and it now lists locations in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, Tunisia, Morocco, Lebanon, Iraq, Palestine and Pakistan. It supports founders at different stages and offers advisory services to startups, entrepreneur support organisations, corporates and governments, and its programmes include the 1864 Accelerator fintech programme with Barclays Bank Egypt, StartMashreq and the Egypt PropTech Challenge. It states that it has supported more than 10,000 founders and more than 2,900 startups. Flat6Labs is part of the F6 Group alongside F6 Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage seed investments.
