Mastercard Start Path

Mastercard Start Path is Mastercard's global startup engagement programme for later-stage fintechs and startups, running since 2014. It looks for companies that have raised investment (seed, Series A or later), have a product live in market and generating revenue, and fit Mastercard's strategy. Selected startups take part in a virtual engagement programme that gives access to Mastercard's customers and partners, and a dedicated fund can invest when a strategic fit is identified. Tracks cover areas including agentic commerce, acceptance, blockchain and digital assets, open finance, small business, security and corporate solutions. Mastercard reports that the programme has worked with more than 500 startups in more than 60 countries.
