Cicada Innovations is an Australian incubator for deep tech ventures, established in Sydney in 2000 with founding shareholders ANU, UNSW, the University of Sydney and UTS. It runs incubators at Eveleigh and Westmead in New South Wales and the Jumar Bioincubator in Parkville, Victoria, where residents get custom labs, offices and specialist equipment. Its commercialisation pathway moves founders through the Foundations, Elevate and Stride programmes. It also runs the Health Commercialisation Training Program, the NSW Defence and Aerospace Hub and the Cicada x Tech23 platform. It says it has supported more than 500 deep tech ventures since it began.
