Seedstars is an investment and education company headquartered in Geneva that supports entrepreneurs in emerging and frontier markets. Founded in 2012 by three entrepreneurs from Switzerland, it runs the Seedstars World Competition, Seedspace hubs, acceleration and growth programmes and online formats, with activity across Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Central and Eastern Europe and Asia. Its investment platform incubates, accelerates and invests in first-time and emerging venture capital funds and their portfolio companies, with LP exposure to managers active from pre-seed to Series A. Vehicles named on its site include Seedstars International Ventures, Seedstars Africa Ventures and Seedstars Youth Wellbeing Ventures. Seedstars also partners with governments, development finance institutions, foundations and corporations on ecosystem-building programmes.
