Tesi (Finnish Industry Investment Ltd) is a state-owned investment company in Helsinki that invests in venture capital and growth companies in Finland. It invests on market terms both in venture capital and private equity funds and directly in startups, scale-ups and large industrial projects, and as a general guideline half of its investments are direct and half are through funds. In direct venture deals it typically joins syndicates from Series A or B rounds as a minority investor alongside private investors, with individual investments usually between EUR 2 and 10 million. Focus themes include deep technology, health and life sciences, the clean economy and defence technology. Its offering for investors includes the KRR funds-of-funds, and in August 2026 its subsidiary Tesi AIFM Oy was authorised to act as an alternative investment fund manager.
