Y Combinator is a startup accelerator that runs a three-month programme four times a year, in winter, spring, summer and autumn. Under its standard deal it invests $500,000 in each accepted company: $125,000 on a post-money SAFE for 7% and $375,000 on an uncapped SAFE with a most favoured nation provision, and it charges no fees. During the batch, startups are sorted into groups led by YC partners, who advise founders in group and one-on-one office hours in the run-up to Demo Day. Its startup directory lists 578 companies under Financial Technology and Services, including Wave, Razorpay and Groww. YC also runs Startup School, Co-Founder Matching, Work at a Startup and Hacker News.
