Vodeno is a banking-as-a-service provider that combines a cloud-native platform with access to Aion Bank's full banking licence. Its platform is built on a smart-contract core banking system and lets businesses embed financial products such as retail and business accounts with European IBANs, lending and buy now, pay later, local and cross-border payments with FX, and savings accounts. Cards are issued and processed in partnership with Mastercard, and the platform also includes digital onboarding, KYC and AML controls, and a white-label mobile app. In 2025, UniCredit acquired Vodeno and Aion Bank. The company is led by chief executives Wojciech Sobieraj and Mirosław Forystek.
