Ohpen provides a cloud-native core banking platform for mortgages, savings, consumer lending, and investments and pensions. Founded in 2009, it went live with Robeco, its first major client, in 2013 and later added clients including NN Bank, Aegon, Knab and de Volksbank. Its 2020 acquisition of Davinci extended the platform into mortgages and consumer lending, and after entering the UK in 2021 it took April Mortgages live as its first UK mortgage client in 2023. The company states that it has five offices across four countries and lists ISO/IEC 27001 certification and SOC 2 Type II. Matthijs Aler is CEO.
