Truv is a consumer-permissioned data platform for income, employment and asset verification that connects directly to payroll providers and financial institutions. It serves mortgage lending, consumer and auto lending, retail banking, tenant screening, background screening and the public sector, where its products cover wage earner, self-employment, education and volunteer verification for benefits programmes. Other products include document processing and fraud detection, employment reverification, direct deposit switching, Paycheck Pay and scoring attributes, and its platform includes Truv Bridge, Orders, Dashboard and Waterfall tools. Truv says its network reaches about 96% of the US workforce and that it has more than 200 customers. In August 2026 Checkr announced that it had acquired Truv, and the Truv site now states that Truv is joining Checkr.
