Swan is a Paris-based embedded banking platform that lets software companies offer white-label accounts, cards and payments inside their own products through an API. It was founded in 2019 at the startup studio eFounders (now Hexa), and in 2020 the French ACPR authorised it as an electronic money institution. Its products include business accounts with local IBANs, outgoing and incoming payments, expense cards and employee benefit cards, aimed at sectors such as accounting, treasury, proptech, HR tech, health insurance and travel. Platforms named on its site as customers include Agicap, Pennylane, Lucca, Indy and Accountable. Besides Paris, it has opened offices in Berlin, Amsterdam, Barcelona and Milan, and its funding includes a €37M Series B with Lakestar in 2023 and a €42M Series B extension with Eight Roads in 2025.
