Symcor is a Canadian provider of payments, document processing, fraud detection and customer communications services for banks, insurers and other organisations. It was founded as a joint venture between Toronto Dominion Bank, Royal Bank of Canada and Bank of Montreal, and its early focus was cheque processing and printing financial documents. Its current products include COR.PAY for payment operations, COR.TRANSFORM for intelligent document processing, COR.IQ for fraud and financial crime detection, COR.CCX for omnichannel communications, and COR.CONNECT, an open banking network. Through COR.PRO it also offers advisory and delivery services, and it states that it keeps client data in Canada. Case studies on its site include work with TD Insurance on digitising regulated communications.
