Its products include Deposit Switch, Bill Switch, Bill Manager, Verify for identity, employment and income checks, Switch Kit for capturing deposits and bill payments at onboarding, and a Taxes product that retrieves tax forms from payroll. The company says it is integrated with more than 1,800 payroll platforms and over 40 time and attendance systems, and it supports use cases including earned wage access and paycheck-linked lending. Pinwheel was founded in 2018 by Anish Basu, Curtis Lee and Kurt Lin, and its site names Coatue and GGV among its investors. It states that it is SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 certified and FCRA and PCI DSS Level 2 compliant.
