Parallel18 is a startup accelerator and investment platform based in Puerto Rico that supports founders from around the world in scaling globally. It is part of the Puerto Rico Science, Technology, and Research Trust, a private non-profit organisation. Its P18 programme is a 16-week accelerator for early-stage startups with three years of operations or less, and each participating company receives a US$100,000 investment via SAFE. Alongside P18, it runs BioLeap, an incubator for life sciences startups, and Xpand, a growth-stage programme for Puerto Rico-based companies subsidised by Banco Popular. Its startup directory lists more than 600 alumni, including companies in fintech and finance.
