Fintech Cadence

Fintech Cadence is a non-profit organisation that supports the Canadian fintech ecosystem through education, startup programmes and collaboration with financial institutions. It was founded in Montreal in 2017 by Jan Arp and now runs programmes and events for the fintech community across Canada. Its Fintech Hub is a no-fee, no-equity programme for pre-Series A startups operating in Canada, offering coaching, workshops, office hours, peer learning and software credits. Its Validation Program helps early-stage startups test their ideas with customers at no cost, across verticals including payments, business lending, wealth management, open banking and insurance. It also offers a fintech certificate, hosts Fintech Drinks and Fintech Social events, and its site lists office hours with Ontario's Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) for fintech founders.
