NEXT Canada

About

NEXT Canada is a Toronto-based not-for-profit and registered charity that runs programmes for Canadian entrepreneurs, from students to scaling founders. It offers three programmes: NEXT 36, which selects 36 undergraduates and recent graduates to take a venture from ideation to launch over eight months; NEXT AI, for idea-stage and early-stage teams building artificial intelligence-based ventures; and NEXT Founders, for seed and growth-stage founders. NEXT AI runs on campuses in Toronto and Montréal, with the Montréal programme delivered in partnership with HEC Montréal. Participants receive education, mentorship, funding and access to a network of more than 500 academics, entrepreneurs, investors and founders. The organisation is funded by donors, corporate partners and government, which allows it to offer access to its network at almost no cost to entrepreneurs.
