Nect is a Hamburg-based identity technology company offering automated, AI-based online identity verification and onboarding. Its products include Nect Ident for identity checks, Nect Sign for qualified electronic signatures (QES), digital post delivery, and the Nect Wallet app, in which users can digitise and reuse identity documents. Nect Ident is certified as an eIDAS trust service module, and the company says the Nect Wallet will meet the requirements of the European Digital Identity (EUDI) Wallet standard. It serves sectors including banking, insurance, health insurance, telecommunications, e-government, gaming and lotteries. Besides Germany and Austria, Nect is active in Poland and South America.
