SEON is a fraud prevention and anti-money laundering (AML) compliance platform for businesses in sectors including fintech, payments, e-commerce and iGaming. It was founded in 2017 by Tamás Kádár, now CEO, and Bence Jendruszák, now COO, who began building it after facing fraud attacks while running a cryptocurrency startup. The platform draws on more than 1,100 first-party data signals, such as digital footprint, device intelligence and behavioural biometrics, and covers fraud prevention, customer and payment screening, transaction monitoring, case management and identity verification. It also supports regulatory reporting, including AI-assisted completion of SAR and STR forms. SEON has offices in Austin, London, Budapest, Jakarta and Singapore, and its 2025 Series C round was led by Sixth Street.
