Method Financial is an API platform that connects to consumer credit and liability accounts and embeds payments to them. Its Connect product links accounts such as student loans, credit cards, personal loans, auto loans and mortgages through a single phone-based authentication without login credentials, and its Data product returns balances, transactions, due dates, payoff quotes, credit limits and APR ranges, with alerts on more than 300 data points. Its Pay product handles bill payments, loan payoffs and balance transfers to US credit cards through direct-to-creditor payments. Method serves fintechs, consumer lenders, personal finance apps, banks, credit unions, auto lenders and commerce use cases such as wallet onboarding. It states that it connects to more than 20,000 financial institutions, and it has announced a $42M Series B led by Emergence Capital.
