FinTech Scotland

About

FinTech Scotland is a strategic cluster management organisation established in 2018 to develop Scotland's fintech sector. Its cluster includes more than 250 fintech firms alongside established financial firms, academics, government organisations, citizen groups and regulators. Its Research & Innovation Roadmap centres on four priorities: open finance data, climate finance, payments and transactions, and financial regulation, and it runs innovation labs including the Financial Regulation Innovation Lab and the Finance and Health Lab. It works with universities on fintech skills programmes, hosts the annual FinTech Scotland Festival, and partners with Scottish Development International and the UK Department for Business & Trade on international connections. It trades through Edinburgh Innovations at the University of Edinburgh.
