About
Fintech Sandbox is a Massachusetts-based non-profit that gives early-stage fintech startups free access to data and infrastructure resources. It was founded in 2014 by David Jegen, Sarah Biller, John Fawcett and Ty Danco. Through its Data Access Residency, accepted startups receive up to six months of free data from each of more than 40 data and infrastructure partners, such as FactSet, Plaid, S&P Global, Equifax, MSCI, Nasdaq and AWS, with no fees and no equity taken. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and more than 450 startups from around the world have taken part. The organisation also hosts Boston Fintech Week and runs Mass Fintech Hub, an initiative launched in 2021 to support the Massachusetts fintech ecosystem.
