Fintech Norway

About

Fintech Norway is an industry association for fintech companies operating in the Norwegian market. It was founded in 2020 as an initiative to speed up the banks' work on PSD2 and Open Banking, and now represents fintechs across payments, insurance, crowdfunding and crypto, having merged with the Norwegian Crowdfunding Association. The association represents its members' interests through communication lines with the Financial Supervisory Authority, the Norwegian Competition Authority, the Data Authority and the Consumer Authority, as well as with banks and politicians. It runs member discussions and knowledge sharing on topics such as PSD2/3, AML/KYC, eID, CBDC, DORA and crowdfunding regulation, and hosts its own events. Fintech Norway is part of the European Digital Finance Association, which gives its members a channel to EU-level policy in Brussels.
