About

Finnovista is an innovation and venture capital firm focused on the fintech ecosystem in Latin America, based in Mexico City. It was founded in 2013 by Fermin Bueno and Andres Fontao, who created the Finnosummit fintech conference the same year. In 2016 it launched the Finnovista Fintech Radar, a research tool mapping the region's fintech landscape, and partnered with Startupbootcamp to run fintech acceleration and scaling programmes. Its venture fund, Finnovista.vc, launched in 2017 and leads pre-seed and seed rounds in Latin American fintech startups, and the firm reports 42 investments in startups from its Startupbootcamp programme. Finnovista also offers corporate innovation services, including startup pilot programmes, opportunity mapping and a fintech venture studio.
