The European Banking Federation (EBF) represents the European banking sector through national banking associations. It is headquartered in Brussels with a second hub in Frankfurt, and it represents around 3,500 banks through associations from 43 countries in Europe and beyond. Its policy work covers prudential policy and supervision, digital and cyber, capital markets and business finance, anti-financial crime, financial health, sustainable finance, and tax. It engages with EU policymakers and supervisors and publishes position papers, policy notes and industry data. It also publishes two newsletters, the EBF Morning Brief and the EBF Weekly Financial Regulation Agenda.
