About
The Africa Fintech Summit (AFTS) is a bi-annual conference series that brings together entrepreneurs, investors, regulators and policymakers working in Africa's financial technology ecosystem. Founded in 2017, it held its first edition in Lagos, and later editions have taken place in cities including Addis Ababa, Cairo, Cape Town, Lusaka, Nairobi and Accra, as well as a fully virtual summit during the COVID-19 pandemic. The organisers describe the summit as a forum for forming partnerships, mobilising investment, showcasing new products and shaping policy.
