Emerging Payments Association Asia (EPAA) is a membership organisation for the Asia-Pacific payments ecosystem, bringing together banks, fintechs, technology providers, regulators and industry bodies. It works on payments policy across the region and aims to reduce fragmentation across standards and regulation through working groups, industry forums, roundtables and briefings. Its 2026 working groups cover quantum-safe cryptography, fraud and scams, tokenised money and stablecoins, the Concorde Initiative, and global digital commerce and SME access. Other initiatives include the APAC Payments Excellence Awards, the Meet-Her She Knows Payments programme, the EPAA Connect Payments Leaders Forum, and published reports and whitepapers. Membership benefits listed on its site include taking part in policy discussions with governments and regulators, invitations to events and roundtables, and opportunities to promote members' businesses.
