EFT Corporation is a payments and banking-infrastructure provider for financial institutions across Africa, and merged with Ukheshe in 2024. Its four core products cover banking-as-a-service, acquiring, card issuing (including wallets and card management) and payment switching and orchestration. Founded in 1999, the company supports more than 100 financial institutions and partners, with headquarters in the UK and teams in the UAE, Mauritius, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and India. Its group includes eSwitch, a regulated payment service provider in Zambia, a shareholding in Botswana's BotSwitch, and the South African payments brand Scan to Pay.
