CULIANCE is a debit card network built for credit unions that connects members' debit cards to ATMs, retail stores and online merchants across the United States. Through the network, cards can be used at more than 2 million retail point-of-sale locations and online wherever CULIANCE debit is accepted. Its CUHERE programme gives access to more than 80,000 surcharge-free ATMs, with participating credit union ATMs agreeing not to charge surcharges to other CUHERE members. Online purchases can be made without a PIN or signature. Participation in the surcharge-free programmes varies by credit union.
