About

ADGM (Abu Dhabi Global Market) is Abu Dhabi's international financial centre, operating as an independent jurisdiction with its own regulator and courts. Inaugurated in late October 2015, it covers Al Maryah Island and Al Reem Island and hosts financial institutions, asset managers, fintechs, corporations and professional services firms. It is made up of four independent authorities: the Registration Authority, which registers, incorporates and licenses entities; the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA), which regulates financial services; ADGM Courts, courts of first instance and appeal that apply English common law directly; and the ADGM Authority, which handles strategic and support functions. ADGM also runs ADGM Academy, and its events include Abu Dhabi Finance Week, held on 7 to 10 December 2026.
