Founder and CEO Katie Haun was previously a general partner at Andreessen Horowitz, where she co-led its blockchain investing, and before that spent more than a decade as a federal prosecutor with the US Department of Justice. In May 2026 the firm announced $1 billion in new funds, focused on new financial infrastructure, new assets and markets, and the agentic economy. Its portfolio includes Erebor, an OCC-chartered bank it has backed since the company's first round.
