Its average initial investment is $3.5 million, it has invested in rounds from $100,000 to $20 million, and it says it does not need to lead a round in order to invest. Its partners are former founders, and its team works with portfolio companies on early hiring, product positioning and marketing, go-to-market and sales, and Series A fundraising. It publishes the PMF Method, a framework for reaching product-market fit, and The Review. The firm says it has backed more than 500 early teams, and companies named on its site include Uber, Square, Notion, Roblox, Clay and Verkada.
