Alven is an independent early-stage venture capital firm founded in 2000 by Guillaume Aubin and Charles Letourneur. Over 25 years it has raised seven funds and backed more than 250 startups, growing from an initial €8m fund to the €350m Alven VI fund in 2022. It reports more than €2bn in funds under management and invests in founders across Europe. Fintech and insurtech companies in its portfolio include Qonto, Stripe, Kaiko, Stoik and TheGuarantors.
