Accion Ventures, previously known as Accion Venture Lab, is the early-stage fintech investment strategy of Accion, a global nonprofit, and now sits within Accion Impact Management. It invests in early-stage fintech startups serving underserved individuals and small businesses around the world. Accion states that the strategy has deployed capital into more than 80 startups across more than 30 countries. Its Latin American portfolio spans Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru, with companies such as Konfio, TerraMagna, Destacame and Tienda Pago. Earlier investments listed on its site include Clip, a point-of-sale business listed under Mexico and marked as exited in 2017.
