Vitesse is a treasury and payments platform for the insurance industry, serving the Lloyd's marketplace and the wider insurance company market. Phil McGriskin and Paul Townsend founded it in 2014. It first focused on cross-border B2B payments and moved into insurance in 2021. Its solutions cover claims payments, treasury, risk-sharing payments, premium orchestration, invoice-to-payment and reconciliation for carriers, managing general agents and third-party administrators. In 2024 it raised a $93m Series C led by KKR, and New York's Department of Financial Services approved Vitesse Trust Company, LLC to lead its US expansion.
