Veriff is an identity verification company that runs document and biometric checks to help businesses onboard and authenticate users. Its platform covers ID document verification with face matching and liveness detection, age verification and estimation, address verification, AML screening against sanctions, PEP and adverse media lists, and business verification against commercial registers in more than 300 jurisdictions. It supports more than 12,500 government-issued ID documents from over 230 countries and territories. Veriff was established in October 2015 and is led by founder and CEO Kaarel Kotkas. Its company timeline records offices opened in New York, London and Barcelona, and a tech hub in Brazil.
