Unit is a financial infrastructure company whose APIs let businesses build accounts, cards, payments and lending into their own products. Its building blocks include deposit accounts and FBO wallets; debit, charge and revolving credit cards; ACH, wire, check, real-time and cross-border payments; and credit accounts, lines of credit and invoice factoring. Companies can either build on the platform directly or embed Unit's fully managed solutions. Unit states that it is a financial technology company and not a bank, and that banking services are provided by its bank partners, which are FDIC members. The company is led by co-founder and CEO Itai Damti.
