The Structured Finance Association (SFA) is a Washington, DC-based member association for the securitisation and structured finance industry. More than 370 institutions are members, including issuers, investors, broker-dealers, servicers, trustees, rating agencies, law firms, accounting firms and IT vendors. Its advocacy is committee-based, with more than 35 committees and task forces, and its policy work covers housing finance, bank and insurer capital, disclosure and reporting, market structure, international issues and legal and regulatory issues. SFA hosts the SFVegas conference and runs Women in Securitization (WiS), alongside research and education resources including SFAcademy and SFJournal, and its board is made up of representatives from 40 member organisations. Its sister organisation, the Structured Finance Coalition, provides structured finance professionals with a grassroots platform for advocacy.
