Prometeo is a financial infrastructure company that provides banking APIs for account verification, risk screening and money movement. Its products include Financial Account Verification, a Risk & Compliance Suite combining tax ID verification with real-time sanctions, PEP and watchlist screening, and a Money Movement Suite covering local payments and borderless infrastructure. Its API supports account opening, connectivity to financial institutions, account and ownership verification before funds move, and pay-ins and payouts. The company says it has more than 7,500 bank connections across Latin America, the US, Europe and Asia and serves more than 226 clients. It is led by co-CEOs and co-founders Ximena Aleman and Rodrigo Tumaián.
