Powens is an open finance company providing financial data aggregation and payment infrastructure. It was founded in 2012 as Budget Insight, joined the Crédit Mutuel Arkéa group in 2019, rebranded as Powens in 2022 and acquired the Spanish electronic money institution Unnax in 2024 to form Powens Group. Its products cover account and transaction aggregation from more than 1,800 banks across Europe, accounts and virtual IBANs, instant SEPA payouts, direct debit, Pay by Bank and bank identity checks. Powens SAS is a payment institution authorised and regulated by France's ACPR. The group has hubs in Paris, Barcelona and Mexico City and is led by CEO Jean Guillaume.
