About

Ozone API is an open banking technology company whose platform lets banks and financial institutions deliver open banking and open finance APIs that comply with the standard for their market. Its three co-founders, Chris Michael, Huw Davies and Freddi Gyara, led the development of the UK Open Banking Standard, with Chris Michael serving as CTO and Huw Davies as Ecosystem Development Director at the Open Banking Implementation Entity (OBIE). The platform supports standards including UK Open Banking, PSD2, FDX and Australia's CDR, as well as frameworks in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Malaysia, and the company reports more than 100 banks live across over 40 markets. As well as banks, it works with central banks and regulators to design national open finance frameworks and run the infrastructure behind them, and partners deliver the platform to their own clients. Its products include a Commercial VRP offering, and it publishes an Open Finance Tracker and an Open Banking Intelligence Hub.
