About
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is the cloud computing platform of Oracle, which began as Software Development Laboratories, founded in 1977 by Larry Ellison, Bob Miner and Ed Oates. OCI offers more than 200 cloud services in each region, including compute, storage, networking and Oracle Autonomous Database, with consistent pricing across all cloud regions. Deployment options include public cloud regions (among them UK government regions and EU Sovereign regions), plus OCI Dedicated Region and Oracle Alloy for running services inside a customer's own data centre. For multicloud setups, Oracle offers Oracle Database@Azure and Oracle Database@Google Cloud. Oracle also sells software for retail banking, corporate banking and insurance.
