Icon Solutions is a payments technology and consultancy company that develops the Icon Payments Framework (IPF). It was founded in 2009 by Ben Hallifax, Tom Kelleher and Darren Capehorn as an onshore consultancy helping banks simplify their IT, and created IPF in 2016. IPF supports payment initiation, execution, clearing and settlement, and its site states it is used by financial services organisations in 20 countries across four continents, naming BNP Paribas, Citi, NatWest and UBS among its bank users.
