The GSMA is a global organisation representing the interests of mobile operators, uniting more than 1,000 mobile operators and businesses across the mobile ecosystem. It is governed by a global board made up of leaders from the operator community. Its Mobile for Development work includes a programme now relaunching as GSMA Inclusive Digital Finance, which aims to close the gap between financial access and financial health for underserved populations. The programme publishes the State of the Industry Report on Mobile Money, Mobile Money Metrics and the Mobile Money Regulatory Index, alongside the Mobile Money Certification. It is supported by Visa, the GSMA and its members.
