Forter is a digital commerce platform for fraud prevention, payment optimisation and agentic commerce, built around identity intelligence. Its products cover fraud management, payment optimisation including PSD2 compliance, dispute management, account protection against takeover and fake accounts, and policy abuse prevention, with a programme for payment service providers. It also offers tools for agentic commerce, including headless checkout and orchestration that let merchants accept purchases made by AI agents. Forter was founded by childhood friends Michael Reitblat and Liron Damri, who previously worked together at a manual fraud review company later acquired by PayPal. It lists offices in New York, Denver, Tel Aviv, London and Singapore.
