Fivetran is a data movement platform that automates the extraction and loading of data from business systems into data warehouses and data lakes. It offers more than 750 fully managed connectors for SaaS applications, databases, ERPs and files, along with data transformation, the dbt Semantic Layer for shared business metrics and a context layer for connecting AI agents to company data. Founded in 2012 out of Y Combinator by George Fraser and Taylor Brown, it is headquartered in Oakland, California, with offices including Denver, Toronto, Dublin, London, Amsterdam, Munich, Novi Sad, Bengaluru and Sydney. It acquired Teleport Data and HVR in 2021, and its listed security certifications include SOC 1 and SOC 2, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS Level 1. Customers featured on its site include National Australia Bank, Pfizer and Coke One North America.
