Finxact is a cloud-native core banking platform with an open API and has been part of Fiserv since Fiserv completed its acquisition of the company in April 2022. It was founded in 2017 by Frank Sanchez in Jacksonville, Florida. The platform serves as an event-driven system of record and transaction processing engine built on a microservice architecture, and includes native payment rails for ACH, RTP and wire, a marketplace and the Finxact.io developer environment.
