About
Finastra is a financial services software company providing lending, payments and banking technology to financial institutions. It was formed in 2017 through the integration of Misys and D+H under Vista Equity Partners, and says it serves more than 7,000 customers worldwide, with the institution types it lists ranging from high-tier banks to community banks and credit unions. Its products include the Loan IQ loan servicing platform, Global PAYplus for payments processing, Trade Innovation for trade finance, LaserPro for loan documentation and Mortgagebot for mortgage origination. In June 2026 it announced that Pollen Street Capital would acquire Universal Banking, its core banking software business built around the Essence platform. Finastra's CEO, Chris Walters, said the sale would let the company sharpen its focus on payments and lending.
