About

Fabrick is an open-finance and embedded-finance platform company within the Sella Group, founded in 2018. It was authorised by the Bank of Italy as a payment institution in 2020 to provide account information and payment initiation services, and offers this licence 'as a service' to non-financial companies. Its products include account aggregation, Pay by Bank, payment orchestration, an e-commerce payment gateway, split payments, lending and a smart banking app, with connections to around 1,700 European banks through its PSD2 gateway. Fabrick acquired the UK pay-tech company Judopay in 2023 and merged with Axerve in 2024, and Mastercard and Reale Group became shareholders in 2023. Its team of more than 400 people works in Italy, the United Kingdom, Spain and Germany.
