Craft Silicon is a fintech software company, founded in 2000, that provides software for banks, microfinance institutions and other financial organisations, covering core banking, digital banking, lending and payments. Its product history includes an automated clearing solution for interbank transaction processing in 2001, a core banking platform in 2006, a new generation of its Bankers Realm platform in 2011 and an AI-powered core banking platform in 2021. Later launches listed on its site include a unified merchant platform in 2022, a buy now, pay later solution in 2023, an instant salary access product for earned wages in 2024 and Tourist Tap, a platform connecting travellers to tourism services, in 2025. The company states that it serves customers in more than 30 countries, with active markets across Africa, Asia and Oceania. It established the Craft Silicon Foundation in 2009 to run social impact initiatives.
